It's Tuesday again, and I'll be sleeping late again.
We just had our final examination on our Rizal subject. Our professor, Mr. Salazar is a very good professor. He's very intelligent, and he's not scary. He's very kind and approachable. An ideal professor for me. :-)
My daddy used to teach in college. He taught Taxation and Obligations &Contracts. I remember as a young kid, Daddy would bring us to a fast-food restaurant and someone would greet him and ask, "Is he your son?" I'll ask Daddy, "Who is he?" and he'll answer, "My student."
I always loved the idea of having a student. It's not because someone will look up to me, not because someone will give me higher respect, but it's because of the sense of fulfillment everytime I think of that profession (which actually a vocation).
I remember 7 years ago, my parents asked me the typical qeustion, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I paused for a while. I was thinking of all my teacher. I said I want to be a teacher.
I remember another great professor, Mr. Maliksi, "If you want to teach, please teach."
I remember my High school Filipino teacher, "I do not know why I am a teacher now. I don't want to be a teacher. I took BS Psychology, but my friends shifted to another course. Then I ended up being a teacher." She says this with a smile, and I know that's she's just joking. She has a passion for teaching, I know, because if she don't have, she'll leave the profession as early as possible. What I know is that she's been teaching since mid-1980s.
Before, I always worry what I am going to be when I finish college. But I worry no more, because I know God has plans for me. And although I do not know what are His plans for me, I keep on trusting. I know His plans are perfect.
A quick update in all the craziness or what I call "my life"
